Job Offers
Editor's Note
You worked hard and went through all the hurdles.  You are handed a job offer to join the company.  Don't rush, even if you're excited about the position.  You were methodical during your job search.  Keep it up.  Evaluate the job offer carefully. Here are few things you should consider:

  • Monetary compensation (salary and bonus arrangement)
  • Perks and benefits
  • Retirement plans
  • Expected hours of work
  • Office environment and stress level
  • Amount of travel expected
  • Opportunities for promotion

Weight these considerations with how you feel about the job. At the end of the day, starting a new job is a leap of faith.
